TOOOO-GA TOOOO-GA TOOOO-GA

Last night, I experienced something that I believed only happened in the movies. A real life toga party. The strangest part however, was that the only cliched toga chants came from some students walking to the party, and perhaps even stranger is that none of them were wearing togas...
Furthermore, this toga party was at the fraternity houses here on campus, which is about a twenty minute walk away from Vanier; whether or not the walk was worth it, I can't quite decide.
Once we actually got to the houses, there were lots of people wearing togas and most of the boys (men?), who were part of the fraternity that hosted the toga party wore really elaborate togas that I was pretty impressed by. I was even more impressed however, by the amount of incoherent first years. And even MORE impressed by the number of incoherent first years who felt the need to express just how drunk they were.
One thing I will make clear is that I am not one to go to a party and drink alcohol or go anywhere actually, to drink anything. So, when I'm talking about these parties I'm regurgitating my sober perspective of last night's event, just so we're clear.
HOWEVER, I did dress up in a toga... for about half an hour... in my dorm... but I was convinced that "no one is going to be wearing togas, don't do it." I gave in to peer pressure and I seriously wish I hadn't. boo.
I did manage to take a picture of my toga though before it turned back into my bed sheet.
