PNE

Yesterday, Kevin and I went to the last day of the PNE! I'm really happy we had the opportunity to go see it, I don't think I've gone a single year without attending actually... Here's a quick taste of our experience:

My favourite part of the PNE is the farm that they have!! IT'S SO WONDERFUL. All of the animals are so cute but the best of all is the piggies!!!

We had donairs, which, unfortunately, were not nearly as delicious as the years before.

Kevin and Sam, who is our friend from Chilliwack but he eventually left us for more interesting people.

This is seriously the best thing ever. This is some mac and cheese from REEL MAC AND CHEESE. This particular dish is called the Godzilla, it has nori, teriyaki sauce and japanese mayo. I first tried out this mac and cheese when Kev and I went to the Mumford and Sons concert at Holland Park. I've been basically obsessed since. All of their dishes are named after different movies, for example they have one called The Breakfast Club that has egg and bacon in it. I really dig it. It's so yummy. So, next time you see this swaggie food truck around, try it out! 

Somehow Kevvy managed to win me this giant squirrel that was really cute. He won it at that game where you throw balls at clowns and you have to knock them down. I was impressed. The squirrel, as you can see was about the size of me so I didn't keep it. I gave it away to a little girl. I asked her if she wanted it and her eyes went huge and she asked, "REALLY?" It was really cute, I was excited about giving it away to someone who would really appreciate it.

All in all, it was really great time and it was a nice opportunity for us to get away from UBC before getting down to business.
