T-minus 2 sleeps
Well, I graduate on Saturday.
I am mostly worried about everything not meeting standards exactly. I'm not too sure.
I'm getting very nervous too! Since yesterday morning my stomach has been going crazy. I'm really excited for all of my family to come out! And my sister!!
I hope everything turns out O.K..

High School // Speech
I keep waiting for tomorrow and I'm letting today waste away.
I think that society in general glamorizes (not sure if I should use that word), youth so much and it's supposed to be "THE BEST TIME OF YOUR LIVES," but why would it be?
My peers go out on the weekends, get blackout drunk and feel like poop for the rest of the weekend. Why would I want to feel that way and more so, how is that appealing whatsoever?!
Not to mention, high school is harsh.
I have a point to this now.
I wrote a speech about youth and high school and how mean everyone is to each other. It was the last speech I had to make for high school besides my valedictorian speech and in it, I apologized to everyone I was mean to and was really honest and brutal and told everyone about my experience with bullying in the last few months.
I received a gold medal.

Congratulations to Me
I have been honored with the distinction of being my grad class's valedictorian.
I've honestly wanted this since I knew what a valedictorian was, and I beat out a lot of other people who would have made wonderful valedictorians too.
I am truly blessed to be chosen but I thought it would feel different.
